We think Captain Midnight may finally be forgiving us for having kids. He seeks them out surprisingly often - usually in the mornings everyone gathers on our bed to pet the cat, and in the evenings he will often join Miles and Micah on the couch while they watch TV. Both kids are incredibly gentle with him now, and they only scare him accidentally when they get excited and run or yell too close to him.
