Rhoville Wedding Plans

Below you can see the state of Molly's obsessive wedding planning and organizing as of a few weeks before the wedding.  We never scanned in any of our wedding photos, but Ken posted a bunch of his and Francesca's (thanks guys!) so we'll link to showizala.com and hope they don't take them down.

Last updated 8/15 - 2 1/2 weeks to go...

This is our sekrit (with a 'k') website for friends and family members who want to know more about the wedding planning than what we've put on the official website for all of our guests.

Our engagement
We got engaged on February 14, 2000. Not only was it Valentine's Day, it was also our 3 year anniversary. Check out pictures of Molly's engagement ring. Pictures of Matt's ring coming soon.

Planning the Wedding
The first thing we did after we got engaged was hire a wedding coordinator. Dianne Greene is doing a wonderful job of helping us plan our wedding - with our busy schedules and our families so far away, we're not sure how we'd manage without her!

Information for Wedding Guests
Updated 7/30

Here's a pointer to the Official Wedding Pages that all of our wedding guests can use to help them plan their trips to seattle.

We've sent out invitations to the wedding, the rehearsal dinner, and Lunch the day after the wedding. We've started receiving response cards so we'll soon have a realistic count of how many people to expect.

The Rehearsal Dinner
We've decided to have the rehearsal dinner at Lowell-Hunt. Lowell-Hunt is well-known in Seattle as one of the best caterers in the area, so we thought they'd be able to treat us to a wonderful rehearsal dinner. They are based on Lake Union and have a very nice dining room right on the water. There's an outdoor patio we can use if the weather is nice, and there's a great view of Lake Union and the boats docked right outside the restaurant.

We're still working on picking a menu for the rehearsal dinner, so if you have any suggestions, send them our way!

Our Honeymoon:
Updated 7/30

We've made arrangements for our honeymoon! We'll be leaving on Monday, Sept 4, 2 days after the wedding. We're going to spend a week in Sorrento at the Parco Dei Principi Hotel. The purpose of this first week is primarily just to relax and recover from the wedding! The second week we will travel by rail to northern Italy and spend 3 nights in Rome, 2 nights in Florence, and 2 nights in Venice.
